Three vendors, one neutral recommendation

Start with the vendor you already run, with our managed security service, or with a side-by-side comparison. Whatever we recommend, we deploy and run it.

How we work

One team from the first review through day-to-day operations, with clear deliverables at every stage.

01

Assessment

We review your current firewall, how remote staff connect, what you expose to the internet and how your Microsoft 365 accounts are protected.

02

Recommendation

We propose the architecture and vendor that fit your network, your team and your licensing preferences, and explain why against the alternatives.

03

Deployment

We install and configure firewalls, SASE or Zero Trust access, migrate rules and access in planned windows, and document what we hand over.

04

Management

We monitor, patch, tune policies and handle renewals, with a ticketed service desk and response times set in your contract.

Why companies in Panama choose Techno Sistemas for security

Vendor-neutral advice

We partner with both Fortinet and Palo Alto Networks and design Cloudflare solutions, so we recommend what fits your case and tell you why the other options do not.

One accountable team

Hardware, licensing, deployment and support from a single local provider, even when your network mixes vendors.

Works with your headquarters

We coordinate with your global IT and security teams in English and can give your overseas engineers Zero Trust access to configure on-site gear, with no VPN and no open ports.

Zero Trust without seat minimums

Our managed Zero Trust service on Cloudflare is billed per user with no minimum, so a small local office gets the same access model as a large one.

Certified engineers

Our team holds Fortinet NSE, Cisco CCNP and CCIE, Juniper JNCIP and JNCIE, Microsoft Azure and AWS certifications and runs these platforms in production.

Local, bilingual support

Remote and on-site support across Panama, in English and Spanish, for your local staff or your head office.

Case study

Distribution company: exposed Remote Desktop closed with Zero Trust access

The challenge

A distribution company runs its ERP on SQL Server. To let staff work from outside the office, the server's Remote Desktop had been exposed directly to the internet.

What we did

We closed that exposure and moved its remote users to Zero Trust access on Cloudflare, limited to the server and services the ERP needs.

The outcome

Remote Desktop is no longer published to the internet. Remote users keep working in the ERP and can reach only that server and those services.

Frequently asked questions about cybersecurity in Panama

Which cybersecurity companies in Panama work with both Fortinet and Palo Alto Networks?

Techno Sistemas is a partner of both Fortinet and Palo Alto Networks in Panama, and we also work as Cloudflare experts. We sell, deploy and manage firewalls, SASE and Zero Trust access, so we can compare options against your actual network and recommend the one that fits rather than push a single brand.

Fortinet or Palo Alto Networks: which should we choose?

It depends on how many sites you connect, who will run the network and how you prefer to license. Fortinet builds firewall, SD-WAN, Wi-Fi and switching around the FortiGate; Palo Alto Networks organizes policy by application and user and is managed from Strata Cloud Manager or Panorama. Our Fortinet vs Palo Alto comparison explains when we recommend each.

Can you work alongside our global IT or security team?

Yes. We can act as the local hands for a regional or headquarters team. We can receive, rack and cable your firewalls and switches before your office opens, and give your overseas engineers Zero Trust access so they configure the gear themselves, with no VPN and no open ports. We work in English and Spanish.

We have a small remote team. Is SASE an option?

Yes, for secure remote access. FortiSASE and Prisma Access are full platforms that fit best when your network already runs Fortinet or Palo Alto Networks. For small teams we deliver managed Zero Trust access on Cloudflare, billed per user with no seat minimum, covering secure access to your servers and private applications. As you grow, we review whether a broader platform makes sense.

How do we stop exposing Remote Desktop or a VPN to the internet?

With Zero Trust access. The connection goes outbound to the cloud, so no inbound ports need to stay open. Each user signs in and reaches only the applications and services you authorize. That is how we closed an exposed Remote Desktop for a distribution company running its ERP on SQL Server.

Do you provide ongoing managed security?

Yes. Our managed security service covers monitoring of your firewalls and access, firmware and software updates, rule tuning, alert review and renewals. You work with a ticketed service desk and response times set in your contract, and you keep ownership of and visibility into your equipment and configurations.

Can you secure our Microsoft 365 tenant too?

Yes. We roll out a security baseline in phases: MFA for every user, Conditional Access, phishing-resistant FIDO2 passkeys and blocked sign-in on shared mailboxes. Where risk-based policies are needed, we recommend Microsoft 365 Business Premium with Defender Suite. Licensing can be supplied through our Microsoft CSP relationship.

How does an engagement start?

With an assessment: your current firewall and its support dates, how remote staff connect, what you expose to the internet and how Microsoft 365 is protected. We then send a written proposal with the recommended architecture, the vendor and why, and a phased plan. Quotes are prepared per project; we do not publish prices.
