Cloudflare experts in Panama
Techno Sistemas is a team of Cloudflare experts based in Panama City. We design, deploy and run Cloudflare Zero Trust to replace VPNs, protect websites with the WAF and bot controls, manage DNS, and connect private servers through tunnels, for companies in Panama, Latin America and those opening operations here.

Business IT in Panama
Five areas, run by one team. We start with the problem that matters most to you and add the rest when it makes sense.
Remote access without a VPN or open ports, built on Access, Gateway, Cloudflare Tunnel and the Cloudflare One Client (formerly WARP), managed per user with no seat minimum.
WAF, DDoS protection, bot controls and rate limiting for websites, portals and APIs, tuned to your application and to your Cloudflare plan.
DNS migration and management, caching on Cloudflare's network, and SSL/TLS encrypted all the way to your origin in Full (strict) mode.
Cloudflare Email Security against phishing and impersonation, plus SPF, DKIM and DMARC set up in stages so your own mail keeps flowing.
Internal apps published through Tunnel and Access, builds on Workers and R2, and account automation through the Cloudflare API and Terraform.
Most companies we meet use one of the first two. Here is how they compare with Cloudflare Zero Trust.
Criteria
Exposed Remote Desktop
Traditional VPN
Cloudflare Zero Trust
Exposure to the internet
Remote Desktop port open to anyone
VPN port published on the firewall
Outbound-only connections through Cloudflare Tunnel
What a user can reach
The server behind the port
Usually the whole network once connected
Only the apps and ports each policy allows
Verification
Username and password
Credentials, plus MFA if configured
Identity, MFA and device posture on every request
Third-party access
Shared or extra accounts
VPN accounts to create and remove
Per-app access with a one-time email code or their own identity
Many companies keep the office firewall and retire only the remote-access VPN.
A phased rollout that keeps your people working while we change how they connect.
01
We review your domains, current remote access, ports exposed to the internet and, if you already have a Cloudflare account, how it is configured.
02
We define what gets published, who can reach each resource, with which identity and from which devices, and which Cloudflare plan fits.
03
We start with a pilot group, move everyone else in stages, and close old ports and access paths once the new setup is proven.
04
We add and remove users, tune policies, review logs and security events, and apply the changes your operation asks for.
We design and deploy Zero Trust remote access, WAF rules, bot protection, DNS and tunnels to private servers, and manage them for you if you prefer.
Our Zero Trust service is delivered per user, so a small Panama office can drop its VPN without buying a bundle it will not use.
Overseas engineering teams can manage their Panama equipment through Zero Trust access, with no VPN accounts and no open ports.
As a Microsoft CSP partner, we connect Cloudflare Access to Microsoft Entra ID so staff sign in with their work account and MFA.
We are also Fortinet and Palo Alto Networks partners, so we combine Cloudflare with an on-site firewall when your network needs one.
Remote and on-site support in Panama, in English and Spanish, for teams based abroad.
Case study
The challenge
A distribution company runs its ERP on SQL Server. To let remote staff work, the server's Remote Desktop had been exposed to the internet.
What we did
We closed that public access and moved its remote users to Cloudflare Zero Trust, limited to the server and services the ERP needs.
The outcome
Remote Desktop is no longer exposed to the internet, and each remote user reaches only the ERP server and the services their work requires.
What does a Cloudflare Zero Trust consultant actually do?
We map what your VPN or exposed services provide today, design Access policies per user and application, connect your servers through Cloudflare Tunnel, roll out the Cloudflare One Client, and set up Gateway filtering. After a pilot we migrate everyone in stages, close the old ports, and then manage users, policies and logs as an ongoing service.
Who owns the Cloudflare account when you manage it?
We recommend that the Cloudflare account stays in your company's name, with our team working in it as members under the permissions you set. That way you keep ownership and full visibility of the configuration, and your own IT team can follow every change we make, whether they sit in Panama or at headquarters.
Is there a minimum number of users for your Zero Trust service?
No. Our managed Zero Trust service on Cloudflare is delivered per user with no seat minimum, so it suits a small Panama office as well as a larger operation. Cloudflare itself offers free and paid plans; we recommend the one that matches the features you actually need.
We are opening an office in Panama. Can our overseas IT team keep control?
Yes. We have set up Zero Trust access so that a client's overseas IT team could configure its new Panama site remotely, with no VPN and no open ports. Your team keeps administrative control while we handle the local installation and support.
Do we need to move our DNS to Cloudflare?
To protect a website with the WAF and CDN, Cloudflare normally becomes the authoritative DNS for the domain. We migrate your records, check mail and Microsoft 365 entries, and plan the nameserver change to avoid disruption. Your hosting provider and domain registrar can stay the same.
Does Cloudflare replace our office firewall?
Not necessarily. Cloudflare secures remote access, web browsing and your published sites, while the office firewall protects the local network. Many companies use both. Because we are also Fortinet and Palo Alto Networks partners, we recommend the combination that fits your network rather than pushing a single vendor.
Which Cloudflare security features depend on the plan?
DDoS protection and a free managed WAF ruleset are included on every plan. The Cloudflare Managed Ruleset, the OWASP Core Ruleset and Super Bot Fight Mode start on the Pro plan, while Bot Management and the full API Shield suite are Enterprise offerings. We confirm current availability before recommending a plan.
Let us know how many people work outside the office, which systems they use and which domains or sites you want to protect. We reply with a concrete proposal and clear next steps.
